Snapshot of Linktree
Reimagining How the Internet Connects
Linktree allows anyone, from creators and small businesses to global brands—to connect their audience to everything they offer online, using one simple link.
Founded in Melbourne in 2016 by Alex Zaccaria, Anthony Zaccaria, and Nick Humphreys, the idea came out of their digital agency, Bolster.
Frustrated by having to constantly update social media bios to promote different content, they built a basic tool to house multiple links on one page. It was built in six hours and quickly took off, first among musicians and festivals, then globally.
A turning point came when Alicia Keys adopted the platform after seeing it on Product Hunt. Today, Linktree is the most widely used link-in-bio tool in the world.
